Integral standard parcel manifest interfaces enable the CAPE solutions to directly send parcel shipment information to UPS and FedEx. The CAPE solution can be equipped with in-line scales and scanners to determine the shipping weights and routing of the packages. Cartons are automatically identified and weighed as they pass through the area on the conveyor. This information is then available to upload to the parcel carrier.

For businesses that ship large numbers of orders through LTL carriers, the CAPE solution can be configured with the necessary routing and rating tables such that the LTL truck load ratings are generated and uploaded automatically. The cartons for each order are assembled onto pallets at the proper dock door and the costs are determined by the cumulative weights and the desired truck route.
